Modern Villa Design Inspired by Family Togetherness
Modern Villa Design for Mother Villa was shaped by a heartfelt vision—a mother’s dream of creating a joyful retreat where her children and loved ones could reconnect, celebrate, and spend meaningful time together.
Located near Homayjan, Shiraz, this modern villa occupies a 1,000-square-meter site with a 200-square-meter built area. The project reimagines contemporary living as more than a residence; it becomes a place where architecture strengthens family bonds and creates lasting memories.
Design Philosophy
The central concept of this Modern Villa Design was inspired by togetherness.
Rather than simply designing a vacation home, the project focuses on creating an environment that naturally encourages family gatherings, celebrations, and everyday moments of connection.
The spatial organization carefully balances private living areas with generous social spaces, allowing intimate family life and large gatherings to coexist comfortably within the same architectural composition.
Site Planning
Every outdoor space was strategically planned according to the client’s lifestyle and functional requirements.
The masterplan includes:
- Private parking
- Swimming pool
- Semi-open family lounge
- Children’s play area
- Fire pit
- Private gazebo
- Outdoor barbecue area
- Scenic viewing terrace overlooking the surrounding mountains
The front portion of the property accommodates the entrance sequence, parking, and recreational play area, while the rear garden offers a quieter atmosphere dedicated to relaxation, outdoor dining, and family gatherings.
Climate-Responsive Architecture
Responding to the climate of the Shiraz region, part of the ground floor was designed as a generous semi-open living space directly connected to the swimming pool.
This transitional zone enhances natural ventilation, provides comfortable shaded outdoor living, and creates a seamless relationship between interior spaces and the landscape throughout most of the year.
Modern Architectural Expression
One of the defining features of this Modern Villa Design is its sculptural massing and carefully composed viewing platform overlooking the surrounding mountains.
Clean geometric volumes, minimalist forms, expansive glazing, and carefully framed vistas establish a contemporary architectural identity while maximizing daylight, visual openness, and the connection with nature.
The result is a villa that is both visually iconic and deeply functional.
